The Farm

Being Tuesday I was wrapped up in WRAP work this morning whilst Ann went into town for a couple of things.

After lunch we went to our now regular, The Farm, for a walk followed by a coffee.  On the edges of the farm they have set aside a field planted with sunflowers, apparently they are going to open up a pick-your-own sunflower seed.  Some of the plants are now flowering, I've put a picture in the extras.  My main photo is of the wildflowers(?) which are growing amongst the stalks of the sunflowers.  My contribution to this week's WildFlower Week hosted by Miranda1008. 

In other news: it looks like we (GB) did quite well in a variety of sports in today's (yesterday's) Olympics.  We are enjoying dipping in and out of the extensive TV coverage.
