Mackintosh Window Detail
Not such a good day, but managed to take an interior shot of the Mackintosh Church.
This is a detail of the stained glass on the east window. Mackintosh managed to incorporate a number of influences in his design; from Gothic revival and Pre-Reformation, to Japanese and Scottish Baronial. He did this in such an inspiring way, the result is a simplistic beauty where light and space are used to dramatic effect.
Our campaign to preserve Mackintosh's unique heritage continued today in the Herald.
