Bredon Hill

Our son in law recently introduced us to a new app that maps walking routes from any location in the U.K. Today, before the thunderstorm arrived we put it to good use on a local walk around the village of Bredon. My blip shows the wheat fields we walked around with distant views of Bredon Hill. ( Blipper Tryfan46 knows this hill very well indeed from earlier days!)

When the rain came it was heavy but short lived. On a later walk we noted how dry all the borders were under the vegetation. Much more rain is required.

We met a local artist who sells her original art from her garage. All the proceeds go to support a township project in South Africa. We bought an interesting selection of her cards. During lockdown1 she did a roaring trade as everywhere was closed. However, as post lockdown “normality” has returned the trade has inevitably slowed.
