A man goes to see his doctor.

Somewhat embarrassed, he says: " I seem to have a small lettuce leaf growing out of my back passage, doctor! "

The doctor tells him drop my trousers while he has a quick look.

“ Mmmm . . . I’m afraid I’m going to have to call an ambulance and have you rushed into hospital for an emergency operation to have it removed! ” the doctor says.

“What, just for that small lettuce leaf?” came the man's rather worried response

“Oh, most definitely!” says the doctor. “ What we have there is only the tip of the iceberg! ”
