So Near & Yet So Far

One of the consequences of Covid is the prolonged separation of families. Although I briefly saw my daughter Sarah and grandson Luis whilst Barry and family were down I haven’t seen Manolo and Anais for over eighteen months. It’s not like they are a million miles away, Plymouth, 65 miles up the road. With the rates of infection in Falmouth still on the increase it’s probably for their safety that I have yet to make the journey.

Good to have Joshua wake up at home, back to cooking a sausage, bacon and egg sandwich sandwich for his breakfast. It’s a military thing, have it in a sandwich and that way if you get called out you can eat it on the run.

For the first Friday in a long time no visit to Jackie and Richard. Jackie has a significant birthday and has family visiting.
Night out with Josh and the Thursday Gang.
