Thumbs Up Gromit

A great morning spent visiting the wonderful and welcoming Castle Fine Arts Foundry in the rather unpronounceable but beautiful Welsh village of ‘Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant’ near Oswestry (but of course not unpronounceable if you are a Welsh speaker!).

Went down to view the ongoing bronze casting and assembly of the new Wallace & Gromit Bench Statue and street bench being planned for outside of Preston Market. If you look carefully you can see Wallace’s arm and the cross-reference photo of the planned finished assembly.

It was as Wallace would no doubt have exclaimed to Gromit: “A Grand Day Out Lad”.
