Low Flying Dom, Piccadilly, London

I've been suffering from total photographer's block for over a week now and it had really been getting to me. So today I took my camera out for another lunchtime trip but was not expecting to see anything at all. But as I crossed from one side of Piccadilly to the other I spotted this bloke doing an "aeroplane" and looking straight into my lens. I did think he was a bit of a show off and then realised he was an old colleague of mine (his name is Dom) and that he had recognised me straight away and so was playing up to the camera! Like nearly everyone I know who has left my workplace he told me he felt so much less stressed and had set up a new art logistics company with a base near Heathrow. In years gone by we had both worked on evening sales until gone 10 p.m and been so exhausted we could hardly stand up. It was so good to see him smiling and looking so much more relaxed.
