A 365 (Once Removed), Aylesford
It's been a very tiring week as work has started to increase quite a lot as we are approaching the second dreaded "deadline season" of the year. To help matters next week I'm going to be the only photographer shooting paintings for five straight days so I can't even take any time off either. Grrrrrr!
On a much happier note when I got home I was able to help my brother take his 365th image for Blip ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2868073657089920365 (hence the title - this is an image of him trying to get his shot for the occasion))! It's amazing to think I gave him my old camera and lens just over a year ago as he's really taken to photography and now loves it is as much as I do. It's been so great watching him enjoying it so much and he's produced some fantastic images over his first year. It's now him who sometimes disappears while we're out walking somewhere to take a shot. This used to drive him mad so I've got my just desserts when it happens to me now!! To be serious, though, it's been a pleasure seeing him grab hold of it and be so creative.
I think without some level of creativity in our lives we can all get a bit lost and low and Blip helps us both hugely in that respect.
