We are on a short break in Wales and this fine machine was hovering virtually overhead this morning. The downwash was palpable and she was gleaming in the bright morning sunshine. There had been an incident earlier, we don't know what but there was a lot of what is commonly referred to as 'Blues and Twos' and the police helicopter was hovering nearby for a very long time, and circling. Possibly surveying the busy A470 nearby, where there have been a  high number of severe RTA and fatalities in recent times. I hope no one died today but the signs are not good. We have been unable to find out anything which in itself is quite strange. More to follow.

Had a strange thing this afternoon. Shopping at the new Aldi in Newtown and unfortunately when we got back to our caravan accomodation realised we had left a full bag of groceries at the shop!!  Dashed back with the receipt and after a time lapse of two hours found the complete bag, still in the same place on the packing counter where it had been left. The staff were very helpful, and all's well that ends well.

Big day tomorrow, test drive booked, a bit nervous to be honest. Had a little tipple to dull my stupid mind. More to follow.

NB.. The helicopter was assisting in a multi services search for an adult who had gone missing. Fire service and mountain rescue were involved. Happy ending as the gentleman was found, not far from where this picture was taken. Glad he was 'ok'.....
