Playing With a New Gadget

My new toy is a close-up lens for my phone. It takes a little fussing to get the sweet spot, but the results are pretty darn good, even with strong winds keeping everything in motion out in the yard. The hoverfly in the Extra was very accommodating, and sat perfectly still long enough for me to fool around with the distance. It's not the same as a big lens and a tripod, but I'm happy to be crawling around, looking at teeny tiny things. Just another way to see the world.
