Paddock no. 10

It's teeming down at the moment - I don't think we will be in a drought any longer. Up until 7.30am this morning, we have had a total of 72mls of rain, absolutely glorious rain.

I went and got the cows out of paddock 10 this morning, and took them to the shed for milking. We got to the end of milking, and it just started to spit with rain. Just got home for lunch, and it started pelting down, and in the 3 hours since, it is still pelting down. FANTASTIC!!

With the rain has come the cooler temperatures - 12.3 degrees C at the moment. We had homemade tomato soup for lunch, and I have just put a beef casserole in the oven for tea. Autumn has finally arrived.
