Day 493 The shopping trip

Today we were back to intermittent heavy rain showers so we had to choose our moment to drive out to the shops.  I drove, as I need to get used to being behind the wheel again, and was accompanied by Daughter #2 and her two 'flower girls'.  We managed to go for a Costa and Violet spent some of her birthday money, mostly on a veterinary set.  Becoming a vet is her new ambition.
It was before we set out that I took some shots of Stella-Rose, who slept almost the entire afternoon waking only for a feed.  I have been reliably informed though that once it is night time, she is frequently awake and needing attention!
