After the Rain

The day dawned cloudy and overcast, but no more of the promised rain has fallen, and it seems nature is holding on to the drops it was given, to hoard it over until the next rainfall.

This rosebud was no exception.

Mistress was busy today and even went to the brand new Pak n Save supermarket that opened in Blenheim today. She is most impressed with the prices and took her Countdown app on her phone and tallied up the amount saved should she had shopped in Countdown instead. A whopping $57.37 off her usual shop. She is rapt. She is saying something like it's so time that Blenheim had some true competition.

I'm not at all sure what she means but I'm happy she's happy!
