Overgrown

We’re getting lots of veg (see Mr F’s photo aka SonofLionel) but it’s a bit of a fight to get into the veg plot as the tomatoes have spread into the potato bed and the pumpkins have made themselves at home in the asparagus bed!
It must be the potent compost we used! I had to put my wellies on today to go down there as I’m afraid of snakes and didn’t want to find one hiding under the rhubarb!
We’ve had a really busy time since we got home, including the heat pump for the swimming pool conking out and having a temporary fix, and the wood burner chimneys getting swept, but the gîte guests are now here (on their third visit) and happy, and resigned to eating rhubarb crumble for the rest of their stay!
