Self discipline

The daughter of one of our bridesmaids has qualified in chocolate and patisserie making.

Our bridesmaid and husband could not make it to the wedding but drove up last Sunday to see us and brought some of the chocolates made by their daughter for us and the newlyweds.

They are very professionally done and we have been limiting ourselves to a small tasting most evenings. Not even every night though our will power is weakening.

Their daughter has however decided that she wishes to train as a nurse so we savour these all the more.

Otherwise the day mainly involved an eye retinopathy test (no drops fortunately); the weekly shop; then sorting out and posting on Facebook the wedding photos.
