Roadtrip day 3
We survived the night, although a lady walking a snorty little dog past the van early in the morning sounded like a pig which was confusing.
It was a bit drizzly, and we had a morning without plans so we headed to Haverfordwest. On the way there we passed a huge charity shop (more like a warehouse) and got some good bargains. Got a coffee in a really cool little cafe, then did some more charity shops and arty shops, then a picnic lunch in a park by the river.
Back to Little Haven to park up at the campsite we’d tried to stay at last night. The couple who own it were so lovely, and had a gorgeous Welsh Collie called Boatswain who was super friendly. We spent a couple of hours chilling in the van (it was sunny but incredibly windy) and managed to wash our hair with a hose in the field.
A bit later we had a walk to Broad Haven (on purpose this time) for a walk on the beach. We got a few things for dinner and then headed back up to the site. Big bowls of pasta for dinner, then Pose gave me my early birthday present - a box of little premixed cocktails. It was a beaut evening so we drank Elderflower Collins and Pornstar Martinis and watched the sun set over the sea.
see extras for a photo of me falling in a hole.
