Doe a deer . . .

As Kent and I went about our Saturday morning tasks, we came across this doe who took a minute to stop and watch us before running away into the woods.

I put palm fertilizer out around the two palm trees as rain was forecast later in the day. I also put a little fertilizer in the potted plants and in some of the gardens. About 5pm the rain came down. Yay!

The rain was also nice as it was 97°F today with a heat index of 120°F. That’s just plain ugly!
