Can't even sit on a log...

in peace! I've done it again... disturbed the peace of the local wildlife by stopping to take photos. But I couldn't resist this bird - he was massive and just sitting there on a log as I slowly turned the corner of an icy country lane. For some reason he took offence and flew off. :-)
Considering the runaway hare yesterday, and now this bird, I think I'll try a still life tomorrow - or maybe blip my new mini orchid (it's my new spring challenge - keep it alive!), that way I can guarantee my subject won't disappear mid shot! :-)
