Rose

A miserable wet day today. I walked dog around lunchtime when the rain wasn’t so heavy and as I left the house I realised we had had visitors again. This time a leather phone case (well chewed) lay on the front lawn, and huge stone put with an Agave plant in was lying across the grass. Once home I checked the cameras from last night, imagine my surprise to see not a fox (although I’m sure it was one that had the phone case) but a barn owl swoop straight past the camera screeching and then lots of noise as it came into contact with the plant and it’s pot! There is another long planter alongside which was very disturbed and a couple of the plants wrecked. Not sure what happened but it was great to see and hear the owl! 

Lovely FaceTime catch up with Nicola, ex foster child, who at last accepted some counselling and is in a good place now. 

Tomorrow we are meeting up with Sue and Roger for lunch as they travel to Hythe for a short break.
