Mini sunflower!
I’ve nurtured my 4 surviving sunflower plants, constant watering, battling slugs and snails that have left some of the leaves looking like lacework, and endlessly propping back up after the high winds. The first one flowered today, and what a measly specimen it is!
A lovely lunch with Sue and Roger today who stopped off on their way to a mini break in Hythe. We made arrangements to meet up again at the shack on the beach in Hythe on Wednesday.
