Model dog

It's a constant search for a good dog groomer for Rufus. He's had great haircuts at places he clearly hates, and terrible haircuts at places where they ply him with treats and cuddles.

Today I took him to Plumpton Agricultural College where they have a Dog Grooming School. It's in a beautiful spot at the foot of the South Downs. He got a great haircut for half the normal price and helped his trainee groomer pass an exam. He was so good that they've asked him to come back and be a model again for their next exam day at the end of April.

You can imagine how self-important this has made him. He's now saying he won't get out of bed for less than £10,000 a day...
