Butterflies

It has seemed not to be a good year for butterflies, but they must be trying to make up for it now.  The hemp agrimony by our pond was alive with butterflies this afternoon.  Here - mostly out of focus, as is inevitable when you are trying to get more than one into the frame at once - are three red admirals, three peacocks and a gatekeeper.  And there were more - just not in this photo.
