Not another teapot ? - I wanted a thimble!

Well, I popped into a charity shop to see if they had a thimble - as you do - (they didn’t).
Then this little chap caught my eye - only £1 - I love owls and use small teapots so couldn’t resist it! He holds more than I thought - about 220ml, so a mug full, he will be used.
The thimble? I should have asked my friend first - she produced about a dozen - she had her sewing box, her Mum’s sewing box and my Mum’s sewing box (I don’t sew, I knit, so I gave it to her) - I now have three thimbles - bet I can’t  find one next time a dog harness needs stitching!
