Well - Now I Know

Took the monsters to Jupiter Artland today.
It was a first for all of us (Yes - I know ... Shame on me. Especially since it is only 5 miles along the road)

We hardly scraped the tip, but it wont be our last visit as SWMBO has purchased membership.
My biggest gripe about the place was the people ... You know - the ones who either can't read or just decide that the requests and rules don't apply to them...... leaving gates open, climbing up and sliding down things, dropping litter . You know the kind. The even got to SWMBO who bellowed at one child to pack it in. That was when Dad realised that he would be better to have a word with the wee cherub. It brought Mother round the corner pretty sharpish too - who promptly had a go at the two of them. Job done!.

I have put up some pictures that are a wee bit different from most of the stuff I have seen from the place ... starting with  the statue I caught deep in conversation
The owners' outside pool is quite impressive. The tilers must have had a fit getting it right.
I was really quite taken with the textures in the old hut and wall.
As for the wall of mirrors - that is something else (this was only a small part of it).
Anyone who has been to the Museum Of Modern Art in Edinburgh will recognise this immediately, but the piece at Jupiter is made up od four sections, not just one and there are limitless photos to be had of the shapes. (Just remember you are not allowed to climb or slide down the steep bits, just walk on the 'flat' bits of the ramps ..... you never know who may shout at you).
There are lots of wonderful bottles in the dark boathouse on the duck pond (where you are serenaded by the dozens of small bells being rung by the breeze on the island).
I was attracted to the pond by the fabulous splashes of red which tuned out to be swathes of these beauties.
We left before the forecast rain arrived. (This was actually a shower that missed us).
