2021 Sunday — 3rd Sunday w/Tristan
To say that the view was “spectacular today” would be an understatement. Just huge “Wow”!
So Tristan and Great-Grandpa Fun went bicycling riding this afternoon. Before they rolled away to be gone several hours, G-Gpa caught a few photos of Tristan (and I stole this one).
They pedaled to Hardie Park here in Cayucos because they wanted to bat the ball and they wanted to throw the frisbee, but they arrived at the park to find that there was a memorial life celebration happening and the park was full of people.
So they went across the street to the tennis courts to bat the ball and throw the frisbee. Then they bicycled to the pier and took their bikes out on the shore and pedaled north on the sand to the rocks and the tide pools.
They arrived back at the house full of stories. Two little boys — one 14 and one 75. Do boys ever grow-up?
After dinner we went to the park and walked the pups around the block and up into the school grounds and found a sidewalk on quite a hill and Tristan lined-up his tennis, whiffle, and softballs — then he’d let them go and we’d watch the race to see which one would get to the bottom of the hill first. Of course, the race had to be re-done numerous times to make sure each racer (ball) had an equal chance.
If you think we are having a good, good time being kids again, you are right.
From Cayucos on
California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
and for 3 weeks, great-grand Tristan
