Restored

And in all it's glory.  

We have one extremely talented woodworker amongst our volunteers, and he has completely restored the cabinet of this beautiful early Wheeler & Wilson sewing machine.  They were imported into Australia as early as 1860 and going by the registration number I reckon this one is circa 1864.

The cabinet is solid mahogany.

And I've just noticed that I've missed a couple of days - I'm sure I have images here somewhere........
