Wolfie and Heinz reach apogee

AOG, where would we be without AOG and the organisers? Probably in a cell with rabid Blippers who want to go online and write crazeeeee stuff.

Those who have followed Bozos and Branson into space will understand the term “Apogee.” This morning there was a most unusual occurrence in the pairs bungee jumping competition. Wolfie and Heinz, German members of the Little Yellow Team, were set to go when a Police K9/Land Shark/Fur Missile attacked the operator of the attachment system. He was mid jump sequence when this gurt big old hound latched onto his butt, I think he has been trained by Sgt Buffy.

As is so often the case, one error led to another and with a jerk of his left elbow the operator placed the bungee in reverse, then smashed the big red button. YES!!!! The Big Red Button. Wolfie and Heinz were immediately catapulted into the tropopause, this image was taken by an overflying Nippon Airways Boeing jet pilot at Flight Level 350, that’s nigh on 6.6 miles high as they hurtled upwards past the startled crew, one of whom muttered, “Wowazat?”

Unhindered by parachutes or other restraints the now frozen pair plummeted to Earth where they landed in a Paddy Field, those Irish get everywhere. Members of the Little Yellow People family are, understandably, distraught. “Malicious,” a member of their Heavy metal tribute Band, ‘Rubber is Everything,’ was reported as saying, “Poor little dipsticks, died doing what made them happy, if only they had known!”

In other news. Ben Maher and Explosion W were so impressive in their Gold Medal jump-off. Another brilliant equine performance.
