This young buck...

was in the woods this morning as I walked to see the Ospreys. He hadn’t heard me coming!
All the Osprey chicks were flying and the nest was empty. Saw at least five birds at one time, but think there was another, so four chicks. Lovely to see them flying. These two still show juvenile fluff and when they sat next to the adults it was particularly noticeable.
Passing the Heronry later, saw their chicks were flighted too.
