Sunset colours

The days are becoming noticeably shorter and the setting sun is lower in the sky. The benefit of this that the sun shining on the harvested fields can produce some dramatic colours that look almost unreal. Last night was particularly special - the sky remained very dark and threatening but the sun was bright and strong and lit up the recently harvested field. The crows were also out en masse feeding on the field where the cows had been and on the neighbouring field where muck had been spread.
It has felt quite autumnal today with rain showers throughout the afternoon. Duets and Tai Chi this morning and cleaning this afternoon as the rain disrupted my plans to finish jet washing the patio.
