I never tire of looking at and photographing eryngiums. They have everything - colour, shapes, spikes, majesty.
A day spent cleaning and tidying in the garden. I made two attempts to take a lot of garden rubbish to the local refuse site. The first time they closed for maintenance repairs as I arrived and I decided not to wait. The second attempt was successful but excessively busy and I was the only one there wearing a face mask. My limited experience suggests that most people are not bothering now which does little for my confidence for 'getting back to normal'.
