Monday: Rural

I’m way behind on my blips (well, 2 days) and am also rubbish at taking photos at the moment.  It’s been quite an active few days but not with anything that has presented photo opportunities.  I’ll catch up on the next couple of days soon.

We had breakfast with K’s brother in a really nicely located cafe in the Lake District.  It was a fair drive and when we got there it was a severely reduced menu which meant we basically had croissants.  But the drive and view was nice.  We then went our separate ways.

We are now on the next stage of our trip, visiting family in Newcastle.  

I leave you with a view of brother-in-law J’s cottage which is pretty rural.
