Summer Showers

Unexpectedly, it rained this afternoon and afterwards I could still see rain in the distance under a dark cloud. Thunder rumbled away, but given the break in the cloud I doubted it would rain any more.

I tried bracketing for exposure, but in the end worked from one frame. I had to lift the shadows a lot, accepting the noise, but I think it's good enough for a screen image. I wouldn't want to print it though.

A bit of lens flare. Should have shielded the lens!
