Carting straw....

Another busy one today.
Sent Kev off to start hauling straw bales home from the farm we are getting some winter barley straw from. It is about a 16 mile round trip so takes a while per load.
I headed off down to the village to cart home what I baled yesterday. Had them all home by lunch time so after lunch I hauled out 3 loads of weaned blk calves to a field next door .
Once I had that done I headed off to cart straw alongside Kev. By 9 pm tonight we had 6 loads home and under cover just as the rain started . It’s going to be a long job.
Roll on bed time.
