A walk across the fields

I took the dogs across the farm fields this evening. They had a good run around. Now home, they have had supper and now settled for the night, apart from our wonder around the garden late evening. Sometimes I can see newts by torch light in the garden pond and sometimes I see bats and often I hear the owl hooting. I wonder what I will see or hear out later this evening.
