A bit wet

Took over six hours to get home today, usually a three and half hour trip. Dropped of brothers birthday gift but was quick and didn’t go in as the whole family was in isolation until yesterday.
The rain was so heavy it was difficult to see at times even with wipers on fast. Hubby took over driving after a while as I was getting quite stressed with the amount of water.
We were doing a 55 in the slow lane with most other vehicles doing the same in lanes one and two when a car towing a caravan went speeding past in the fast lane, must have being doing 70, which I think is illegal even in good weather. How anyone could be so reckless I don’t know. He did have a clear run as there were no other cars in that lane.
The sun came out and the rain stopped just before we got home.
No flowers left in garden at home but we have lots of colour still at the cottage.
