Bridle path

Walk down river path and bumped into Spencer and Cory, two Weimaraner. Cory is four months old and we haven’t seen her before, Hetty had such fun boxing with her, Spencer’s was very calm and just watched.
We went up onto the moor and decided to walk a bridle path and then back via a footpath we have used many times. Always so quiet, but not today. We didn’t know that there was a horse riding event and we were o e the same route for much of our walk. Not a problem as they weren’t going very fast and Hetty warned us when horses were coming up behind us.
These four were quite interesting as one of the riders got off and then had difficulty getting back on, she walked a while to find rocks to help her, two more came up behind and wanted to get past but the first two didn’t move. They all rode off together and seemed to be chatting.
We had lunch sat away from what we thought was the route for the horses only to find they were coming from other directions, turns out there were different distances.
It was fun to see, a lovely walk of around 11k and nice sunny day.
G&T on return and then cooked dinner.
Saturday so film night.
