Waiting for the 11:45 from Sheringham

This smartly dressed volunteer on the North Norfolk Railway was taking a short break whilst awaiting the 11:45 (hauled by Black Prince) from Sheringham.

It was great to be able to buy a cup of coffee from the station buffet and sit on the platform with H and watch the world (and trains) go by again.  I adore this little station, it's so beautifully restored and maintained by the North Norfolk Railway and in such a picturesque setting nestled in the valley.

The splendid Back Prince is an extra, he really is a beast of an engine!
