Today's reading material (and most of last night as I didn't sleep well).

Feeling much stronger today. Saw surgeon again this morning and he's happy with everything. Just one or two things they want to keep an eye on for the next few days then fingers crossed I'm out of here.

Missing the kids and Mike and the dogs and horses so much. Toby says he can tell the horses are missing me especially Jack. Seeing them on video chats just makes me want to hug them all even more, especially as the kids were a bit upset yesterday. It's been a really emotional time for all of us. Hugging them goodbye and walking through the hospital door was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Hopefully I get to hug them all again soon.
