Sensible Stridley

You all know what the day after a holiday is like, much putting away of things; some washing (the constant showers put paid to that!); drawing up a list of jobs for the week ahead etc. etc.  The animals have been very well looked after by our neighbours whilst we have been away so are relaxed and happy.  Odo has been out of the kitchen door between the showers all day, but Stridley is much more sensible and has been curled up in her snake charming basket.

Jen has just arrived from Ferniegair.  She and Pete have had an excellent week on Skye, discovering a quality vegetarian restaurant being one of the highlights.  Now she has her last week of work to do before starting her new job north of the border next week.  Meanwhile, Pete has his first week at his new job in Glasgow so we will be thinking especially of him in the coming days.

Now we have to gear up to another adventure, the arrival of our other half of the family from the US next week!
