Away, Away!

Woo-hoo! Travel! We're a 40 min train ride north of Barcelona in Granollers in La Fonda Europa. 'Fonda' was traditionally the most basic accommodation in Spain. This place has kept the name, but is now a lovely hotel and is famous for having hosted our friend HB many times ;-) If only she could have jumped on a plane at the last minute from Australia, the way we jumped on a train this afternoon from our lunch table near Sants Station, totally unplanned and not carrying anything, saying we'd buy toothbrushes and toothpaste here!  I often look at special travel offers and one for here popped up this afternoon. 'Fancy it?', I asked Bb.  I pressed confirm and 20 mins later were on the train. My blip is of the blinds in our hotel room and the extra is the front of the hotel. We've had a siesta and are now having a drink on the square (see Bb's blip) and might have a wee bite to eat. We're on holiday!!   Breakfast is included and I'm already looking forward to it!
