T-Wood and Caerketton Craigs

Heavy rain overnight, but the roads have dried up quite nicely. The bike ride is quite a short one. On the way out there is a little light rain in Penicuik, and a bit of muttering under the breath. However the rest of the ride is dry. The weather is quite quiet, so I head along the Moor road to West Linton, and the back road to Romannobridge. Not many cyclists out today.

The return leg is nicer than usual, parts of the road have been resurfaced. smooth roads. On the road from Leadburn,  I notice rain over Penicuik and Hillend. So from Auchendinny, I head back via Roslin and the Braids. I put the bike away, and the rain starts again.

The rain stops just after lunch. So a dry, but mostly cloudy, walk to Swanston in the afternoon. There is some sunny periods, as can be seen on the blip photo. After the sun, darker clouds move in. It feels pretty cool, but there's no rain.

Very nice evening, especially as I have Monday and Tuesday off work.
