California Poppy

The Summer Solstice, so the weather is cloudy. In the morning I do a bit more bike maintenance. After coffee I walk to the local park. The meadow flowers are doing quite well, and are attracting plenty of bees. There haven't been many colourful butterflies this year. There are quite a few California Poppies of various shades of yellow and orange.

After lunch I walk to Braidburn Valley Park. It feels more like Spring than Summer, cloudy and cool. When I get back to the house I go for a wee bike ride, followed by a bit more bike maintenance.

A nice quiet evening, with a nice beer to relax even more.
