Lifting the spirits

After hearing some sad news, I was feeling rather down and sorry for myself. I couldn’t settle. I cleaned a couple of rooms and went into the garden for some serious tidying. 

But then I realised that I wasn’t alone. Five Red Admirals, two Peacocks, a couple of Small Tortoiseshells, a few Green Veined whites and a ladybird were taking advantage of a few minutes of strong sunshine. 

They are such treasures.
