Nicotiana

Another uninvited garden guest - self seeded in the gravel in the front yard.  

We haven't had Nicotiana as a bedding plant for several years, so presumably it is from a neighbouring garden.  

In other news - we have a number of ants' nests in the garden, and as we walked back up the garden from W's workshop this evening, flying ants were pouring out of them - a feast for the birds.  No photo can convey the frantic activity.  I took a short video, which is on Facebook for those who wish to look.
