Cosmos

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this goldfinch play among the cosmos flowers, nibbling at buds and seemingly enjoying the shade. The same bird landed on one of the sunflowers but didn’t stick around long enough for me to even click off a shot. Maybe next time • I want to thank each of you for your fun and encouraging commentary for all of the AOG blips. Many of you played along which tickled my fancy more than you know. It’s hard to believe AOG Winter Games are next year! • We caught as many Olympic events as possible, some swimming, water polo, misc. track and field, rock wall climbing, but the favorites were Women’s basketball and soccer. Despite all the covid challenges, Tokyo was a fabulous host, doing everything possible to keep athletes healthy and safe • Heat and humidity are moving in for a few days, and neither are welcome. We’re already complaining :) • Oh, and in case you’re wondering, we’ve been eating cucamelons pretty much daily for the past week :)
