Tiger Flower

Today I went to Wisley and saw many of these Tiger flowers, commonly called Peacock flowers. I was not familiar with them previously. Apparently the flowers only last for one day.

Wisley was looking good and not too crowded as we were there early. However when we left at 12.30 there was a very very long queue to get in and cars going into the far car park.
The vegetable garden by the new Hilltop building is looking much more productive than my allotment!
