What is it? The Kiss?

I popped into Kingston today and saw two rather odd sculptures in the market place. On examining the label I found that there is now a sculpture trail of seven sculptures around Kingston. Having accessed the website I find that this one is called ‘The Kiss’ and is part of a series of unwanted monuments, two street cones ‘kiss’. Apparently inspired by Rodin and Constantin Brancusi’s piece of the same name!
Nearby there is another sculpture of a goat with a cone on its head called Party Animal by the same sculptor Alex R T Davies. This made me think of the statue in Glasgow which always seems to have a traffic cone on it.

I will check out the other sculptures on the trail another day.
