Happy Lion's Day

I didn't see any tiny lions while carrying my camera this morning....
Tonight we are having a thunderstorm so the closest I've come to a tiny lion is a little yellowjacket.

Big news today. 
- Governor Cuomo resigned. 
- The Senate passed a $1T infrastructure bill - and did so in a bipartisan manner. (It still has to pass the House.) Hopefully this will help people in rural areas have internet access. 
- Thousands of Brits are trying to save an alpaca named Geronimo. 
- The Development Bank of Southern Africa is joining with the Green Climate Fund to provide $200 M of lending to help local communities and small businesses with renewable energy projects. 
- Temperatures in my state may reach 110 degrees F (43 degrees C) heat index, which factors in humidity. Without humidity it is expected to be 97 degrees tomorrow and 99 degrees Thursday. 
- The light outside is amazing, a glowing yellow mixed with peach mixed with red. It is so pretty even my retaining wall made a nice picture. 

Annejohn and Katesgarden taught me that the pillow flower is a Grandiflorus. That sounds like a word an 8 year old would make up to indicate that something was spectacular. The sky is grandiflorus.
