Date night

Well early evening really! :- D

Today Mr C and I celebrate 36 years of marriage and, only yesterday, I suggested we went to a Mexican up near Covent Garden for supper.

Our table was booked for 5.30pm and we arrived in plenty of time to have a walk around. We stopped at this lovely little French tea room for an iced tea (and thought the name was almost like marriage :-))  I would really like to visit again for afternoon tea.

We have visited Cafe Pacifico quite a few times in the past but not for a while and one of the best bits was the welcoming salsa and corn chips when you arrived ~ it was just the best ever! But no sign of it today. The menu seemed quite reduced to what we remember too. It was all ok but I think we have had better.

Afterwards we strolled around seven dials, Leicester Square, Piccadilly and down to Green Park where we caught the tube and back home before 8 :-D getting too old for late nights :-))

No rain today ~ woohoo! It was a lovely warm and sunny evening and London was pretty busy. Most people on the tubes wore masks too.

A few extras of our walk around.

We also received a wonderful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco from mum & dad.
