Grey Heron

I had to go up to the loch early today as I was expecting a delivery! The young one spotted me and was straight over to one of the exposed clearings! It was quite busy on the path at one point and the young one took off to the middle of the loch. I waited until it got quieter and was just  about to head the secluded clearing when she flew back!  Even though she gets a treat It is really quite a privilege that she comes over to see  me when her instinct must be telling her not to.
